How do I use the thruster system?
The Arc Sport equipped with the Navigation Package has bow and stern thrusters controlled through the joystick and touchscreen. The thruster system assists with lateral movements and tight turns, particularly useful during docking or launching.
Lateral Movement and rotations:
Press the joystick down to activate, then push side to side to slide the boat laterally, or twist the joystick to spin the boat in its place.
Station Keeping
Select Station Keeping on the touchscreen to automatically use the thrusters and propulsion to stay in the same spot without an anchor. This is especially useful when you’re waiting near a dock, getting set up for a rider, or pausing on the water.
Reverse Steering
When backing up, the thrusters engage to help the boat respond more predictably to the wheel, so it tracks straighter instead of drifting or pulling to one side. That drift is called prop walk, and it's a common quirk of inboard boats. With reverse steering assist, backing into a slip feels a lot more like you'd expect. You can turn reverse steering assist on or off in the boat's Settings.
Advanced Mode
Advanced Mode lets you control both the thrusters and prop with the joystick, giving you full omnidirectional control at low speeds. Enable it on your touchscreen under Settings > Drive, then double-tap the joystick to get started.
