Powering an Endless Summer
9.5.24
Since debuting the Arc Sport and kicking off our Electric Summer demo tour, we’ve shared the elevated, modern experience of electric boating with hundreds of you.
We’ve witnessed countless "a-ha!" moments as the Arc Sport quietly kicks up to top speeds without compromising conversations. We’ve watched smiles leap from surfers experiencing their first fumeless rides. And we’ve seen our modern touchscreens ignite new ideas about what’s possible on the water. It’s been electrifying.
Speaking with so many of you along the tour, we further validated that the Arc Sport is solving boaters’ biggest pain points at a local level.
Elevating boating
When it comes to boating, we believe your experience should be effortless end to end.
In Austin, Texas, dragging gas cans down to the dock is inextricably linked to time on the water. For boaters looking to avoid the haul, refueling often means a long line at the gas pump, in the middle of the day in the scorching Texas heat. For any boater who’s been there — you know how much either of these options can dampen a mood. The Arc Sport’s power is simple. Charge overnight, unplug in the morning, and go have fun. Easy.
Lake Tahoe, California, is one of our country’s most beloved bodies of water, known for its remarkable water clarity — 60 to 70 feet on average. Here, the Arc Sport’s unrivaled ability to deliver a pure, uninterrupted connection with the water is breathtaking. The DC fast charging available at both Homewood High & Dry Marina and Tahoe City Marina allowed the Arc Sport to fully charge and get back on the water quickly. With whisper-quiet performance and zero gas to spill into the lake, we’re able to support organizations like Keep Tahoe Blue in their mission to maintain a pristine lake environment for generations to come.
In Traverse City and Elk Rapids, Michigan, we saw coastlines building for an electrified marine industry. Because larger ships have been plugging in at marinas for decades, most marinas already come equipped with either L1 or L2 charging. And now, states like Michigan are investing in L3 DC fast chargers to make electric boating even more accessible. Our boats will charge overnight with L2 charging and in as little as 45 minutes with L3 fast charging.
Endlessly electric summer
Labor Day has passed, but our Electric Summer demo tour is far from over — we’re expanding our calendar to meet the outpouring of demand from across the country.
This month, we’re launching a tour leg on the East Coast, including stops in New York, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Florida. On the West Coast, an Arc Sport is wrapping up its time in Seattle before heading to San Francisco. And, we’ll be making our way back to Texas to take some more of those gas cans off your hands. For those of you near our headquarters in Los Angeles, we’re also opening up year-round Arc Sport demos.
We’re happy to bring you a taste of endless summer as the tour continues this fall and share in your enthusiasm for an electrified future of boating.
