What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone that is excited by our vision, eager for a challenge, and willing to learn on the job. We pride ourselves on transparency and operate in a lean, high-trust environment that encourages everyone to take ownership over their domain.

You will be a full-time member of our Production team and will work from our manufacturing facility in Los Angeles. Given that we’re a startup, you will be working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment that requires adaptability. That said, here are some responsibilities and qualifications we expect to stay relatively constant for this role.

Core responsibilities

Assisting the production and supply chain teams with hardware non-conformance tracking and ensuring all non-conformances are resolved quickly
Performing hardware inspections in accordance with quality standards or design documentation
Supporting and maintaining all Arc production quality systems, including documentation and quality metric reporting
Leading cross functional teams to deliver quality improvement projects
Leading hardware containment or recall efforts on an as-needed basis
Creating or improving upon manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures
Collaborating with the production and supply chain teams with a solutions-oriented mindset

Basic qualifications

3+ years in a fast paced manufacturing, quality, or engineering role
Experience performing hardware inspections and working within a quality management system
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and offsite as needed

Bonus qualifications

Exposure to multiple relevant manufacturing processes (electrical systems, composites, assembly, etc.)
Ability to articulate and defend technical decisions
Comfortable pushing an intense but sustainable pace
Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
