Growing at warp speed

Less than three years ago, Arc began building electric boats in an 8,000 square-foot warehouse. Today, we’re proud to announce our move into a 150,000 square-foot factory and headquarters in Los Angeles. This is a testament to our long term commitment to electrifying the marine industry.

We’ve been growing rapidly: Since founding in 2021 we’ve successfully delivered the Arc One to customers, secured more than $100 million in funding, and grown the company from 3 employees to more than 80… and we’re expecting to double that number by this time next year!

Our new cutting-edge headquarters will help us scale production and meet the needs of growing demand across boating enthusiasts, new and old — beginning with our first mass-market boat hitting the waves early next year.

Los Angeles: a mecca for innovation

Arc owes its success to the individuals who make up our team. We decided to base our factory in Los Angeles because of the incredible talent located here. Los Angeles isn't just a city; it's a hub of creativity and innovation. We take pride in competing for a shared talent pool alongside industry leaders like Rivian and SpaceX. The EV landscape is expanding, and we're strategically positioned to be in the middle of it all.

While many boat companies have chosen to optimize for cost-cutting, low-quality manufacturing techniques, Arc has deliberately shied away from this strategy. We’re dedicated to our people and to crafting boats unlike anything else on the market. After all, it's not just about constructing a single electric boat; it's about assembling a team and developing techniques capable of shaping the future of boating.

Building the next wave

We’ve quickly settled into our new factory. Consistent with our ambitious approach to timelines, our production line was up and running just hours after the relocation! It’s now full steam ahead as we sprint towards the release of our next wave of high-performance electric boats.
